Same old, same old! This has always been a debate for people and computer users all over the world: the compatibility between a Mac computer and a program designed for a pc. We already know that the Mac OS is different from Windows, this is why many programs that are used on the Windows platform simply do not work there. And there are also people that are changing the Windows platform with a Mac one, or they simply have bought another computer, maybe a Mac laptop or a Windows based laptop and they want to install on the Mac the same program they have on their other computer.
This has become a real problem and this is why many people have been asking if there is possible the compatibility between the two platforms.

The answer is that yet it is not, but there are some programs that can be installed both on the Windows computers and on the Mac ones. These programs can be games, can be tool programs or antivirus programs. And, if they are not yet compatible just like that, there has always been there the solution of creating a new version, 99% similar to the one on the Windows platform, for the Macs. So, here you go, problem fixed!
The big “fishes” on the market, and I speak here about the big companies have realized now that it is very important to create programs for both the platform, from two big reasons: the first one is to gain more profit, enlarging the target and the second one is to help users be able to choose the platform they like and not be forced to choose between them, because of some programs that they really need or like.

But I am not saying that Mac is a niche or something, it is just that Macs are just like special jewels: they need to be bought by everybody, but they can be afforded by few and they look different, but they are pretty much the same with the normal PCs. So, this myth has to disappear and this is why the big companies have understood this thing and they are trying to create a bridge between the two.
Let’s take the example of the Nod32 antivirus I have already spoke about in my past articles. The ESET Company, which I believe it is the best or among the best ones in the antivirus field, has understood this problem and they have created a version for the Macs. So, little by little everything will become almost even. So, we need a little patience in order to see what is next.
